Information technology has played a significant role in making art activities efficient. As such, art industry should also ensure that they embrace technology and incorporate it in their designs. This will make the face of the industry change and increase its significance in the society.

Statement of the Problem

Many people and researchers have extensively researched the art field. Such researches have led to the improvement of the industry as each subsequent research adds value to the art business. However, there are still gaps presented by these researches. The issue of technological incorporation in the art business is not adequately addressed. Incorporating technology in the art industry is important as different ideas will be brought forward and as a result, the industry will be changed in a positive way.

Subjects for study

This research proposal gives the research question, background and procedure methods to be used for the study. Focus on the art businesses will aim at establishing what the software features ought to be incorporated in order to enhance growth in the art industry. The research will concentrate on commercial art businesses since they are many and are readily available. Moreover, commercial art businesses provide more accurate information about their experiences in their endeavors regarding the art market, more than the non-profit art businesses who may decline to give information. This difference is expected to result from the observation that commercial art businesses are more honest with answers than non-profit art organizations. Ethical considerations

Bottleneck of the process is the approval of questionnaires by the Human Resources Manger and the CEO, as well as getting all the respondents responses back in time, because the required information on membership of a trade union may be very sensitive.

Researchers may overcome the difficulties of collecting these types of sensitive data by using a descriptive research methodology, which involves the administration of open-ended questionnaires that are non-offensive in nature. The purpose of this research proposal is to access how information technology would be incorporated to enhance innovation in the art businesses.

The study will address questions on the nature of technology to be used, how it will affect the industry and how it will bring change in the social and economic life.

  4. What will be the effect on the social life of individual’s social life and the economic status of the entire country?

Study Measurements/Design

The research is primarily a quantitative study, which will tend to develop recommendations and conclusions from the statistical handling of the data collected. The objective of a quantitative study is to classify features that are associated with the phenomena being addressed by the study, to obtain a figure of the features as well as constructing statistical models, which are important, as they will aid in explanation of the nature and occurrence of the phenomenon. The one conducting this research has wide knowledge on what he aims to discover. In addition, this quantitative research design will help the researcher, as it will allow the development of tools for the study prior to collection of data. Further, the data stored will be analyzed with the statistical package for economics. This software efficiently works for performance of data analysis including regressions, tabulation, and development of charts, AVOVA, correlations, as well as other formats of data presentation (Anderson, Sweeney, Williams & Anderson, 2008).
